CSF 2nd Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament 7/01/2008 10:00 am
 As promised, the 2nd Annual Ben Carson Celebrity Golf Tournament was an event to be remembered. The two-day event kicked off on Sunday, June 29th with the Pairings Party. On Monday, 21 foursomes along with their celebrity player engaged in a friendly competition of drives and putts at the picturesque Hayfields Golf Course. In the end, it was Brooks Robinson and Team Intel consisting of Jack Rowe, Steve Berkowitz, Steve Vito and Frank Johnson who took home the winner's trophy. Congratulations to former NFL Defensive End, Chris Doleman for winning the Longest Drive Challenge. Special thanks to our celebrities, Intel and all of our sponsors for making the event a huge success.

 Justin Blazenyak Grade 6 - Baltimore, MD
Three- time Carson Scholar winner Justin Blazenyak hopes to become a teacher and volunteers his time tutoring students in math, a subject at which he excels. He has been on the Principal’s Excellence Roll for the past five years. An avid reader, he reads on average a book a week. Playing basketball and competing in checkers tournaments are hobbies of Justin’s. |
